Some of us want a yoga teacher certification, while others just want to learn more about the ancient science that makes us feel better. Whatever your intention is, learn if our yoga teacher training is right for you.

Yoga Teacher Training…...if it wasn’t for the fact that people will learn how to teach yoga after the program, we’d rather call it “Life Changing Personal Journey”. Dosha Yoga Teacher Training combines the two sister sciences: Yoga and Ayurveda to both practice and teach to the individual’s needs.

The goal of our program is to create yoga teachers who can make yoga accessible to individuals with varying needs. We teach hatha but will also review techniques and a general overview of Mindful Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Prenatal Yoga, Chair Yoga, and Kids Yoga to help students find their own path and their own way to teach authentically.

The 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training course covers:

  • Ayurveda
  • Yoga Anatomy
  • Yoga philosophy
  • How to students safely to their individual needs
  • Mindfulness and meditation
  • Communication techniques
  • Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)
  • Overview of various styles of yoga

Our program has over 200 hours of instruction both in the classroom and online to ensure students feel comfortable and confident teaching yoga. After successful completion of the program, you’ll have a completion certificate to be registered with the Yoga Alliance. Some people will choose to register, while some are just here for the self-discovery, whatever makes you feel good is fine with us!

This is what you’ll get:

  • Community of like-minded individuals

  • Knowledge of how the 8 limbs of yoga can be applied to your own life to improve your lifestyle and well-being.

  • Tools to tailor your own home yoga practice to stay in balance

  • Yoga Teacher Training Manual
  • Upon completion of a 200-hour yoga teacher training program, participants will receive a completion certificate that will allow them to apply for the 200 RYT Yoga Alliance designation. Past participants have found employment in yoga studios, gyms, universities, and hospitals.

This is what you’ll give back:

  • The competency to teach yoga to others regardless of ability, body type, or age.

  • Confidence to others

  • The ability to help others find strength and ease both mentally and physically from a well-taught yoga class.

This is what doesn’t matter:

  • To apply, your age, body type, and flexibility are completely insignificant. Our certification program extends far beyond what’s shown in photos.

  • How “good” your yoga practice is. Yoga teacher training helps students understand how all facets of yoga can increase well being.
