MyCAA Approved Program
What is the MyCAA Program?
The MyCAA Scholarship is a workforce development program that provides up to $4,000 of tuition assistance to eligible military spouses. The scholarship helps military spouses pursue licenses, certificates, certifications or associate degrees necessary to gain employment in high demand, high growth portable career fields and occupations. We are the only yoga teacher training in Tampa approved for the MyCAA program Additionally, our 200 hour yoga teacher certification program has additional concentrations taking advantage of the maximum benefit of the program.
Training
Eligible military spouses can receive up to $4000 of MyCAA Financial Assistance that will help fund education for portable careers.
Job Preparation
Military spouses have constantly changing schedules and locations. Yoga instruction is an extremely portable career that can move with families to new locations. It is also a flexible industry allowing instructors to create their own schedules.
Job Placement
Green Locus works closely with other businesses to provide continuous mentor-ship support to create and find employment after completion of the program.

What makes our yoga teacher training program different is the ability to not only provide the 200 hour training to eligible military spouses but additional concentrations that would ordinarily cost students money out of pocket but under our teacher training umbrella can be covered under our military programs benefit.

Multiple concentrations can be added onto the 200 hour program.
Why yoga teacher training?
Becoming a yoga instructor blends well with military life. Due to the flexibility of the job, yoga teachers can choose to teach only a few classes week earning part time income that works well with their family schedule. They can choose full time employment. They can also start their own portable businesses that they can build and still PCS if necessary. Once the training is complete the possibilities are endless!

Registration
MyCAA applicants should complete the following steps:
1. Register for the Green Locus Yoga Alliance Approve Teacher Program online
2. Do not place your deposit.
3. Contact MyCAA to start your counseling session. Remember, there is a deadline of 30 days before the program starts for MyCAA.
