Employment at Green Locus Yoga

Educated and experienced yoga teachers are the heartbeat of our yoga studio! All teachers must be have completed either a 200 hour Yoga Alliance approved program or a similar program. If you are interested in being a part of a yoga community that serves in Westchase, Citrus Park, and Town n' Country communities this is the studio for you. We help people feel better through yoga.

Yoga teachers should be able to make adjustments to their sequences based on the needs of the class.

Requirements

Yoga teachers are encouraged to teach in their own style but their class must fit within the objectives of the current schedule of classes. This is a 1099 position unless a part of our Workplace in the Wellness program. All instructors are required to carry their own professional liability insurance with Green Locus Yoga as the additional insured as well as workmen's comp or an exemption form filed with the State of Florida. Instructors are encouraged to grow their base and jointly promote themselves with the help of Green Locus. We require a minimum of one year of teaching experience. For individuals with less than one year of teaching experience we encourage them to apply for our mentorship program.

The online marketing interns will be responsible for assisting our team with our social media strategy designed to increase SEO, build brand awareness, and engage our community online. This is a fun internship in a relaxed environment but will give you the experience to understand the difference between using social media for personal use versus business use. Rather than simply posting for fun, you will learn how to plan a social media strategy for business. This internship will be good for anyone with current design experience or looking to add design experience to their resume in addition to building their resume for social media for business.

• Intern will be responsible for maintaining and promoting brand through online methods.
• Maintain several social media accounts. Intern should expect to research effective means of using social media for business.
• Update website
• Provide quality work and complete tasks by deadline, this will include getting items reviewed in a timely fashion so feedback can given in advance of due date.
• Increase relationships with other brands through social media account.
• Interacting with potential clients at events and representing the Green Locus brand.
• Logging client information into the CRM system.
• Performing administrative duties and upkeep at studio location.

Intern should be pursuing a major in college or a graduate degree. Candidates should be able to comfortably communicate with potential clients and leads. Loving the brand and educating potential clients about the benefits of yoga is a must. Majors may include but not limited to Business Administration, Hospitality, or Communications. Excellent written skills are required with an attention to detail. This is an unpaid internship but interns enjoy unlimited yoga classes at our studio. Must have reliable form of transportation.

A Promotions Intern is needed to assist with facilitating our promotional both online and in person. The intern will learn how blogging, attending events, and interacting with clients in a meaningful way help with our small businesses marketing strategy. This internship will be useful for understanding the difference between spamming clients and prospects with information but creating value for our clients through education.

Duties include:

• Creating promotional content for email marketing and blog posts
• Update website for upcoming events and promotions
• Attend First Fridays to promote upcoming events and specials
• Stay updated through education for various promotional materials.
• Interacting with potential clients at events and representing the Green Locus brand.
• Logging client information into the CRM system.
• Updating webpage and working with Social Media contact to create content pieces.
• Performing administrative duties and upkeep at studio location.
