Exercise and health have always been an important part of Lauren’s life. When she
discovered yoga, she fell in love with the physical and mental balance that it
provided. After practicing yoga for about eight years, she decided that she wanted to
share the benefits of yoga with others through teaching. Lauren obtained her RYT
200 hour with Yoga Alliance through Green Locus Yoga Studio and also completed
training in teaching SUP yoga through Yoga Energy Studio in 2015. She graduated in
2009 from Towson University in Baltimore, MD with her Bachelor of Science in
Nursing.
Lauren offers balanced classes that provide opportunities for a challenge, strength
building and connecting the breath with movement. She believes that we can all
benefit through the power of breath, observance and mindful movement on and off
the yoga mat. The beauty of yoga is that there is always something more to learn or
somewhere else to go with your practice; your body and mind are capable of
amazing things.
When Lauren is not teaching yoga, she works as a critical care nurse. She also enjoys
running, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, and snowboarding in the winter.
