Join us this summer for PreTeen Yoga and Meditation!
PreTeen Yoga and Meditation will enhance or provide new skills to kids finishing elementary and entering middle school. This class will teach skills to build confidence, strength, and ease anxiety through asanas (poses), pranayama (breathing), and relaxation.
Each class will include meditation, pranayama (breathing), and deep relaxation. They will learn asanas (poses) through repetition, partner poses, and group activities all set to modern music targeted to their age group.
Students will learn how to gradually develop a meditation practice and use pranayama techniques to reduce stress and anxiety. They will practice asanas and sun salutations to build strength, flexibility, and wellness and will be introduced to deep relaxation practices.
This series will provide ideas and tools to ease anxiety and stress associated with the natural changes of entering their teen years.
*There are no refunds for special events or workshops. We reserve the right to cancel workshops or special events if a minimum number of participants are not met. For cancelled events, a full refund will be given.
